  • CCWS (Chester Co. Women’s Services) Medical offers help with crisis pregnancy including pregnancy testing, counseling, referrals (medical, financial aid, legal assistance), support groups and material assistance (diapers, wipes, baby clothes, formula). Offices in Coatesville and West Chester.   www.ccwsmedical.org
     
  • Child Evangelism of Chester Co seeks to reach the children of Chester Co. for Jesus through intentional evangelism. This ministry includes the Good News Club, meeting after school in public schools and homes during the school year; and backyard Bible clubs (5-Day Clubs), day camps (Camp Good News and Kiddie Camp), and the Summer Missionary Program in the summertime.  Volunteeers are not only encouraged but necessary to run such a comprehensive evangelism program.   www.cefchester.org
     
  • City Gate Mission offers food, shelter and guidance to homeless men and a progression of 30-, 90- and 120-day discipleship programs to get men back on the right track.  They also have three Bible study programs for inmates in Chester County Prison and a ministry to offenders in the Southeastern Security Treatment Unit.   http://countycorrectionsgospelmission.org/history-of-city-gate-mission/
     
  • County Corrections Gospel Mission works with inmates in Chester County Prison. An extension of this ministry is to the children of Chester Co. thru Kid’s Bible clubs.  County Corrections Gospel Mission’s Kids Bible Club is an after-school Bible club held at the Camp at Old Mill reaching kids from the City of Coatesville from ages 4-14. Kids Club is every Thursday from 4:30 – 5:45 during the school year.  It is a volunteer-based program. Volunteers come from local churches and colleges and help as leaders and teachers ministering to about 125 kids each week. While at the camp, Kids head to classrooms for a Bible lesson, craft or activity, a snack and recreation. It is a wonderful time and tremendous opportunity to pour in their lives.  www.campatoldmill.org
     
  • Good Works performs home repairs for low-income homeowners in Chester County.  Their mission is to extend God’s love to families living in substandard housing; to make homes warmer, safer and drier; and to replace hopelessness with the hope found in Jesus Christ.  Good Works’ has operations in Coatesville, West Chester and Phoenixville.   www.goodworksinc.org
     
  • REST Ministries seeks to equip the local church to establish a biblical support and discipleship ministry for hurting women.  REST stands for Restoration, Encouragement and Support, through Truth.  Their mission is to teach and train the local church to accept and biblically disciple hurting women.   http://hvmi.org/rest/city.html
